My first MP3 player had 128 MB of storage. Who needs an iPod anyway? on Flickr.

I found this guy hiding in my desk drawer the other day. My first MP3 player, a 128 MB device from iRiver. The brand name was surely designed to throw off not-so-tech advanced people out to buy an iPod for their grandchildren. I imagine there were a number of disappointed iRiver owners when these things were around.

I actually remember using this more to record audio as opposed to listening to music, and it came in handy. If I recall, the sound quality of the records was not all that bad for what I was using it for.
